More adventure

After a full day, we headed out that night to dinner with the Hawks! After dinner we went to get ICE CREAM and see the fountains. You'd think we were Irish the way we were partying!

We had a big week of sickness here. Between the stomach flu and colds, it wasn't much fun. We did try to make it a little fun by keeping busy!

New wheels

Ryan got a new toy over the weekend. He LOVES it!

Sleepover

Since it is pretty much a Friday night ritual, Avery and Ryan are used to bath and jammie time at one another's house. Last night I HAD to play with A's hair (hence the cheerleader ponytail) and the kids jumped on the bed and red books!

Brothers

They have been working on concrete projects in our neighborhood and Ryan loves watching the construction equipment do its job. Since Josh loves to be anywhere that his brother is, he's learning to love it too!

Good fences make good neighbors

The fence is almost done! We are so excited for the summer and being able to sit under the gazebo, drink in hand and let the little ones run around the backyard! Today brings a MASSIVE landscaping effort though. This weekend and next weekend should be very busy!

Gorgeous Charlotte days

70 degrees here in Charlotte today and we were LOVING it!! We went to the park with Melissa, Ian and Emma! The boys had a blast getting muddy and playing with trucks. Josh and Emma loved eating everything on the ground!

Not a bad day!

Yesterday we had a pretty good day! We went to a play date at Tracy's house and Ryan just had a blast playing with Alek. It is so funny to see them together. They run around, Alek rides on Ryan like a horse with Ryan cracking up to pieces, they lay quietly next to each other on the cough as Alek shows Ryan how to play a video game. Josh and Sean should be a mess in the years to come! You can already see them wrestling! Melissa was there as well and we had some good food made by Tracy.

Then we went to dinner at Five Guys with Daddy and Tennille and Quaid! It was so good to see them again now that they are back from Alabama! Then I was off to have some wine with some girlfriends. That makes for a pretty busy and good day in any book!

Just another manic Monday

Ryan is a total fan of editing pictures. He loves making picutres into cartoons, as you see here!

I just got photoshop (and a tutor for using it) so hopefully I can get a handle on that as well for some cooler pictures!

For Josh! The rest of us are totally normal. Well, as normal as we get! :)

Good weekend

Despite Ryan's random cooties, we had a really nice weekend! Saturday Ryan spent the day with my parents and Matt, Josh and I pretended we were a family of three! We got some errands done and met Melissa, Joe, Ian & Emma for a great dinner at Beantown and then we went to get ice cream! You can't beat that!

Yesterday we went to Lowes and bought the first of about a million plants we'll be buying this week. I potted 14 plants yesterday and it is really starting to seem like spring outside! We are counting down the seconds until they approve our fence!!

The week that was

This week Ryan got a random cough that I could not figure out. We took him to the Dr and he has...nothing. It may be allergies, but it will probably just go away this weekend. I don't even want to tell you the story from last night. You just don't want to know. He weighs 47 pounds now and is about 47 inches. Trips me out! He had a blast seeing Alek this week and playing with Mr. Tom. The fish fry was another story...

Josh is talking up a storm and getting in more trouble than anyone has the right to! He keeps us on our toes.
