We've waited to list things until he really knows what he is saying. Josh has been saying BYE and DADA forever, but now he really talks and knows what he is saying! He says:

Saying goodbye

We were so sad to see Nana leave today. We enjoyed having her here so much! We look forward to seeing her this summer, but we will be sad until then! :( Daddy and Ryan made a helicopter after she left to make Ryan cheer up a little.

Goddaughters

In one fabulous day I managed to gain two gorgeous Goddaughters!!

Friday morning I went to breakfast and shopping with Shannon, Laura and Julie. Julie had to run and put us in charge of finding a baptism dress for her little angel, Erin. You just wait until you see pictures of the dress we bought. You will swoon!

When I dropped the dress off to Julie, she honored me by asking me to be Erin's Godmother! I was SO excited!! I have never been a Godmother before and I am delighted to have Erin Harper as my first Godchild!! Josh was just delighted to play with the Tyson, the dog!

Matt and I had plans to head to Shannon and Greg's last night and when we got there we were greeted by the sweetest surprise! Emmie was in a teeshirt that read "Will you be my Godparents?" We were just so elated! Emmie holds a very dear place in my heart (and let's face it, I would kidnap her if I could get away with it) and Matt has never been a Godfather! Seeing as how Josh and Emmie will be married in a couple of decades, seems only right to join the families up now!

So what started as an ordinary day became an extraordinary day and I am so touched and blessed to have such wonderful friends who trust me (us) to guide their lovely daughters in this very special way!

Ryan's class project

Mommy helped the class make their pots for the auction! Each child painted and decorated their own fish!

Uncle Scott's Birthday Dinner

We had a giant family feast made by Grandma! Grandma and Nana made fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and french silk pie!!! We all gave Uncle Scott an ipod and he was really excited! Here is a picture of Scott's girlfriend, Heather, who we all really like!

Buzz

Nana is here!

We had a such a wonderful time seeing Nana! The kids were so excited! She and Josh just love each other!

Back to sick

After a wonderful weekend with Nana here, Josh's cold became a full blown problem. We went to the Dr today and the verdict was a double ear infection. Poor little munchkin. I think I am going to have to go back to being a total psycho about germs! :(

This past week

We had so much fun this Valentine's week! On Tuesday we went to Melissa's house for a Valentine's playdate with Ian, Emma, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Grant, Sean and Alek. The kids had a great time and Melissa made a yummy meal for them!

Ryan loved his V day party at school and came home with lots of goodies! We met Julie, Josh and Erin for lunch and then we took the kids to the park. Later that night my parents came by to give Ryan and Josh their gifts! My Dad always picks out a special gift just for me as well! They were delighted the whole day and crashed right out!

More Valentines

With a week full of great Valentine's Day fun, we started off Monday with a wonderful playdate with Jurga and her gorgeous daughters, Ruta and Silvia. Ryan amd Ruta have played together since they were six months old. It is amazing to see the children they have become and how dear they are to one another even now. Jurga is expecting another baby girl this summer and we can't wait to meet the next supermodel she and Simas bring into the world. The kids had a wonderful time make Valentine's cupcakes.

Ryan and I headed to Jen's house for a great Valentines brunch party with lots of our friends! The kids decorated cookies and had a ball playing! The Moms had a delightful time eating yummy food and drinking mimosas! It wasn't a bad way to spend the morning and we are now all ready for a week of Valentine's Day fun!
