Boo in the zoo

Shannon's wonderful parents were kind enough to host us this weekend in Greenville, SC for Boo in the Zoo and Halloween fun! It was Shannon's birthday and her Mom made a feast and a cake. She had the house all decorated and plenty of Halloween fun for the kids. They LOVED the gorgeous yard and lake and nearly flipped over fishing! Boo in the Zoo was great and we had a terrific day!

In exciting news, I had my first article in Charlotte Parent Magazine. As many of you know, I write a weekly column for them online, but I got my first piece in the actualy magazine! Since many of you are far, here is a copy of the story!

We had fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa at the playground in the dark. Josh was a really big fan of the zip line with Grandpa!

Griffings visit

We were so excited to have Bill and Pat and Pat's mother, Norma, visit us! They were on their way to the beach. As many of you know, Ryan is named after their son, Chris, who passed away more than ten years ago. The kids LOVE the Griffings and were so happy to spend a little time with them.

Charlotte Shouts

Once again this year we went uptown for the very cool Charlotte Shouts festival. We ate so much amazing food from the top restaurants here. Here are a couple of shots of Wuaid and Josh!

Erin is ONE!!

My gorgeous Goddaughter, Erin, had her first birthday party!! I can't believe she is one already. It seems like only yesterday that I held her in her tiny pink blanket at the hospital and now she is walking and having a ball!
