Bark in the Park

We went to an event called Bark in the Park after the carnival. Everyone had their dogs and Ryan and Josh delighted in seeing them all! The Malls were going to meet us there, but had company stop by unexpectedly. We played in the big park and Josh did what he loves most-went super high on the swings!

After such a big day, everyone went home and napped. Grandma and Grandpa came to pck the boys up and took them out for pizza while Mommy and Daddy had a very romantic dinner at Coligny Grill. Drinks on Julie and Scott's deck were the perfect ending to a great day!

The carnival

Our next stop was the carnival at Grandma's school in Myers Park! The kids had a blast! Ryan played games and won prizes! It was a lot of fun. Josh LOVED the bubble machine!

Ryan rides a horse

Ryan rode on the back of his first horse on Saturday at the carnival! He had such a great time and we were so proud of how brave he was!

Project birdhouse

Even though we were all still tired from the fabulous night of fun we had on Friday with the Lancasters, we rallied to get to the Lowes workshop on Saturday morning. Ryan and Daddy built a great birdhouse together while Mommy and Josh shopped!

A fun week

After a week as busy as that last week had been, we looked forward to a little more of a casual week. Jenny and the boys came for a playdate on Monday. Tuesday was Tracy's birthday and we had a mini party for her at the park with Stacey and all of our kids. Josh and I went shopping on Wednesday morning and I met with the girls for drinks and a movie that night.
Julie and the kids came on Thursday for a really fun playdate with pools! It was the first real kick off to summer! The boys had a blast running around and playing in the water!

It just doesn't get cuter than this

Grandpa's Birthday

Grandma made a delicious feast for Grandpa's birthday! The boys are always excited to be over at their house. It was a beautiful Sunday for it! Grandpa brought Josh a bear that he loved! Ryan decided everyone should play croquet after we had dessert.

The Hawks' Baptism

Saving this space for pictures from Shannon!

Baptism Pictures

Emerson and Avery's baptism!!

It was a gorgeous day last Saturday as Emmie and Avery were baptized! Everything was beautiful and Shannon and Greg's families were so fabulous. We had a really good time hanging out with everyone.

Avery and Emmie looked gorgeous! How can you beat tiny white dresses and those little faces? Matt and I were so honored to be Emmie's Godparents. Here are some of the pictures, though I don't seem to have any of Avery, so I will a blank post and get some from Shannon.

Emmie and Josh were, as always, so cute together!!

No matter what happens...

DO NOT FEED JOSH OREOS!! What a mess!!!

Silly munchkins!

Happy Birthday to me means watching these little muffins having fun! What better present could there be?

I was lucky enough to go out again with my girlfriends on Wednesday night for a FANTASTIC and fun night out. We were out until midnight, if you can imagine!

Thursday morning I met Shannon, Tracy and Julie for breakfast and then did my best not to feel a little hungover! Shannon and I went to the spa for manicures and pedicures! Bliss! Then we snuck in a little late lunch!
Matt had roses and a spa basket waiting for me! You can't beat that birthday!

Birthday friends!

Some of my best girlfriends took me to dinner on Monday night to celebrate my birthday! We went to one of my favorite restaurants and had a great time! Julie made me a tasty cheesecake!!

Brunch with the Hawks

We had a DELICIOUS brunch at Pikes with the Hawks and we exchanged Easter baskets! We then dragged the boys shopping! These are pictures of me trying to steal Emmie by putting her in my trunk!

The Rogers come for dinner!

We had a great time having The Rogers over! We had a really yummy dinner and Melissa made a great dessert!
