Sick buddies

These days it seems we are constantly battling back from some cootie we aquire! The last three weeks have been a mess of colds and stomach flus and ear infections. Now that the mend is in sight, we are going to be taking LOTS of precautions to ensure that no more of this hits our house. These have been really hard time on Mommy, for sure.

Here are a couple of shots of the little guys as they are home sick. Even when they aren't feeling good, they are always up for a little fun.

Ian's birthday

We celebrated Ian's THIRD birthday today! I can't believe that he is so big! It seems like only yesterday we met him as a tiny baby in a bumblebee outfit and he is now THREE!! Ryan and Josh had a marvelous time!

The boys had a big project today--putting together the new bench! They did a great job!

Dinner with the Lancasters

We had a wonderful cookout with David and Jen and their boys on Saturday afternoon! They guys watched the OSU game and the kids ran wild. They must have had a great time because they passed right out, allowing for some super fun patio chat on a gorgeous evening!

Gardens

We have been out back planting the new back yard (pictures to come soon) and we CANNOT get Josh to stop eating the grass!!! How do you explain to a baby that he is NOT a cow?!?!

Dinner with the Godfrey's

We were tickled that Whitney and Steve and Will and Nick could come and hang out for dinner on Friday! It was so good to see them and the boys had a ball!

Now, we certainly could have done without Josh waking up at 11:00 and throwing up every 15 minutes until 5 in the morning, but that's what happened. It was a bummer way to end a great day.

The great outdoors

Everyone is loving the warm temperatures and the new back yard. I never knew how much a fence could change your life. Josh, who was afraid of the grass before, can now be found pulling out flowers. Mommy is not very happy about that. For some odd reason, Ryan's favorite thing to do is to pull weeds up, put them in his dump truck and drive them across the yard to the trash. I am not complaining. If we could teach him to mop floors I would totally hire him out!

Italian party

After a day of Irish, we went Italian. We had a few couple over for a huge italian feast where everyone made their favorite Italian dish to share! After about seven bottles of wine, we were having a great time! The kids had a ball!

Josh vs. green beans

After a week with really not much of an appetite, Josh was in a hurry to gain it all back. He ate an entire can of green beans in one sitting. You just can't get how funny it is until you see it yourself.

More adventure

After a full day, we headed out that night to dinner with the Hawks! After dinner we went to get ICE CREAM and see the fountains. You'd think we were Irish the way we were partying!
